Chei Chei Foods Products Limited

We are a Tanzanian food company that runs the whole chain ourselves - from the farmer's field in Ruvuma Region, through our mill and packing lines, to shelves and buyers worldwide.

Owning every stage means the grain we buy is the grain we mill, and the quality a buyer sees on day one is the quality they get on every order. Alongside our own products we trade a wide range of Tanzanian crops and run storage and transport for the sector.

Sourcing & trading

    Source

    We buy raw grain directly from smallholder farmers in Ruvuma Region, and other crops from growers and regional markets.

    Clean & mill

    Intake, cleaning, grading and quality-controlled milling to a consistent standard.

  3. 03

    Pack

    Flour, snacks, soft drinks and dried fruit are packed in-house; commodities are bagged to order.

  4. 04

    Store & deliver

    Our warehouses hold stock between seasons and our own transport moves it to retailers, wholesalers and ports.

The dhow in our logo is a nod to Zanzibar's long history of trade across the Indian Ocean. Today we carry the same idea further: good Tanzanian produce, handled with care, for buyers wherever they are.
